ACTS 10:38
"how God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him."
if we are to walk as jesus walked, then we should be filled with spirit and power just as HE was.
Being a spirit filled person, is not to show or display how "goldly" we are.Its not about falling on the ground, or running around a building, or shouting calling attention to our selves, so people will say "man, she or he is really feeling God." Its not about a "feeling the glory" experience. Its not our feel good drug that we get just for ourselves.
NO! being spirit filled is not about US at all.
Its about the lost, its about the people that surrond us. That need that power. that need the gift of life. the gift of healing, the gift of redemption that comes from the power of the holy spirit that is given to us , not to keep but to extend.!
The anointing of God, and the baptism of the spirit of God is to carry out the purpose of GOD in our lives.
Isaiah 60
"ARISE, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn."

if we ask God for his power, for his anointing and we ARISE, and recieve it, The LORD our LORD will rise upon us. he will fill us with himself! and the darkness that is all around us will be drawn to us, they will want what we have! they will want the same gift of salvation, of healing of restoration that we have found!
arise- makes me think that God is saying wake up believers, live with passion! seek my face and seek my kingdom, seek the spiritual gifts, ask and you shall recieve. i will give you the gifts of the spirit not for yourselves but for the sake of others, for the lives that will be changed because you were faithful in prayer, because you desired more of me, i can trust you with more of my heart.
Passion- comes from connectin with the Holy spirit of God.My prayer for tonight is this
That tonight i fall at your throne and i ask you daddy to fill ME with YOUR holy spirit, to breathe a fresh anointing into ME. i ask holy spirit to ARISE in my heart and begin to change me. holy spirit you need to change me before i can help change this world or anyones life. I am seeking you lord and all that you are. I pray for the gift of prophesy so that i may recieve the supernatural ability to see things the way God sees things! Father i pray that my steps are led by you. Father teach me to walk in the fullness of your power. to walk in all confidence of christ.
